submitting your report to e-äriregister
the finished report is submitted to the Estonian business register as an XBRL file. this section walks through downloading the file from nosweat.finance, uploading it to the e-business register portal, and signing the report digitally with an Estonian ID-card or Mobile-ID.
When is the report due?
By Estonian law, annual reports are due 6 months after fiscal year-end — for calendar-year companies, 30 June of the following year. Late filing → reminder → fine → potential forced dissolution after 1 year. If you can't make the deadline, file as soon as possible and contact Äriregister.
What is the "Activity Report" (Tegevusaruanne) and where do I get it?
Tegevusaruanne = a 1–2 page narrative about your company's activity year.
Not mandatory for micro-enterprises, except when the company is a public interest entity (listed company, bank, insurer, pension fund) or exceeds the micro-enterprise thresholds (at least two of three exceeded: income >€900k, assets >€450k, average employees >10). For a typical micro-enterprise, the management report is optional.
App generates a draft on /review (AI-written from your transactions); review and customise. After finalizing, find the text on /report in the "compiled management report" panel — use the copy buttons and paste into the Äriregister portal (review stage → Management report). The management report is not part of the XBRL file — it must always be entered separately on the portal.
How do I download the XBRL file for Äriregister?
On /export, click "download XBRL/XML" — file name aruanne_{registryCode}_{year}.xbrl. Make sure all steps are complete first; check the /pdf preview matches what Äriregister will see. Re-download if you change anything afterwards.

Can an AI assistant walk me through the Äriregister submission?
This is an optional path for users who already have a paid Claude subscription with the Claude in Chrome extension. The extension sees your open page and can guide you through ettevõtjaportaal step by step — you always stay behind the wheel.
What the AI cannot do (always yours): logging in with ID-card/Mobiil-ID/Smart-ID, entering PIN codes, signing, and submitting to the registry.
How: 1. Download the XBRL file on /export. 2. Open ettevõtjaportaal and log in yourself. 3. Open the Claude extension in Chrome and give it this prompt:
I have an annual report XBRL file generated by the nosweat.finance app. Walk me through submitting it at ettevotjaportaal.rik.ee. I will log in and sign myself. Pause and ask for my confirmation before every save. Never click any button that signs the report or submits it to the registry.
- Follow the steps and verify every value yourself before confirming.
Note: Responsibility for the submitted report stays with you — the AI can make mistakes; check the numbers against the /pdf preview. The extension sends the open page's content (including your company data) to Anthropic under your own agreement with them, not via nosweat.finance. A Claude subscription is not required to submit — the standard guide above covers all steps. We are not affiliated with Anthropic; for issues with Claude itself, contact Anthropic support.
By what date must I submit the annual report?
The deadline is not a single fixed date — it is 6 months after the end of your financial year. Most micro-companies use the calendar year (1 Jan – 31 Dec), so the deadline is 30 June of the following year. If your financial year ends on another date, add 6 months to that end date. You submit and digitally sign the report in the e-Äriregister entrepreneur portal (ettevotjaportaal.rik.ee), which also shows your company's exact deadline.
